I am an Australian and new to investing in overseas markets and follow your commentry, do you have a set portfolio to follow or just trade tips in your premium service if i sign up can you provide some guidance

Thank you for contacting us. The short answer is "both, and much more".

Since you are new to investing in overseas markets, you would definitely benefit from our "Key Principles" section. This is where we lay out the basic (yet, very important) rules that one should be aware of when making investment decisions in the precious metals market. We cover i.a. bullion holdings (where to buy, how much, gold or silver, etc.), structuring of one's portfolio, diversification of your holdings, etc. This section outlines rules helpful in creating your portfolio and managing it.

Generally, we don't want to create one single model portfolio - there is no "perfect portfolio", simply because every investor is different - age, psychology: risk preferences, investment perspective, time that one wants to dedicate to investing etc. With the "Key Principles" section we help you estimate what would best suit YOUR needs.

For example, contrary to most investment newsletters, we don't publish one single list of recommendations as far as large cap mining stocks are concerned. Instead - we provide you with an interactive tool that will create the list for you, based on our research/models, but according to your instructions. These interactive lists are called Gold/Silver Leverage Calculators and can be found in the Tools section.

As far as juniors are concerned, we will have the list in form of a Java applet in the future (with additional features) - for now we publish the list of our favorite gold and silver juniors, at the beginning of each month. You might want to check out the previous Premium Updates for details.

All of this might seem complicated at first sight, but it should get much clearer once you go through the Key Principles section.

Once you construct your portfolio, with your specific needs in mind, you can move to other things that we provide (Charts section, and perhaps Market Alerts if you decide to use part of your capital for speculation).

We look forward to providing you with precious metals investment guidance.
